Job Summary The Nurse Practitioner functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in the delivery of comprehensive health and health maintenance to patients in ambulatory settings. The Physician Assistant provides out-patient comprehensive primary care service including preventive and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

Qualifications Education:

• Applicants who graduated on or after October 1, 1998, must have completed requirements for a Master’s degree or post-Master’s degree certification.
• Applicants who graduated prior to October 1, 1998, are exempt from above requirement.
• Graduates from either a certificate or currently closed program should submit supporting documentation that demonstrates program compliance with Board guidelines.

Experience

• Three to five years of experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure

• Current certificate issued by ANCC and/or or AANP or eligible.
• Active Florida license required.
• DEA license preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Other Requirements

• Commitment and ability to keep up to date with scientific and technological developments/literature.
• Able to work flexible hours as assigned.
• Able to work at other CHC locations as assigned.
