NOW HIRING: Nurse Practitioner – Nephrology

The Kidney Clinic is seeking a dedicated and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing nephrology team.

Location: The Woodlands / Conroe area

Position: Full-Time

Specialty: Nephrology

What we’re looking for:

• Active Texas NP license
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) preferred; qualified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) candidates may also be considered
• Nephrology, hospital, or dialysis experience preferred, but motivated candidates willing to learn nephrology are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Comfortable working across hospital, outpatient clinic, and dialysis settings
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with nephrologists and the clinical team

Responsibilities:

• Hospital nephrology rounding and follow-up of hospitalized patients
• Nephrology clinic evaluation and follow-up
• Hemodialysis patient rounding at local dialysis units
• Evaluate and manage AKI, CKD, hypertension, electrolyte and volume disorders, ESRD, and other renal conditions
• Review laboratory and diagnostic results and assist with treatment planning
• Coordinate care with nephrologists, hospital teams, dialysis staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide patient education and longitudinal kidney care
