Nurse Practitioner (NP)

We are looking for a compassionate and talented Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner will provide primary and specialized care to a wide range of patients, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and offering preventative care and health education. The successful candidates will also be responsible for managing patients’ care plans and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in order to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Delaware
• Fresh Nurse Practitioner graduates are welcome to apply
• Able to treat all ages as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency in understanding Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software (training will be provided)
• DOT physical certified required

Duties:

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform physical examinations and provide preventative health measures
• Provide counseling and education on lifestyle modifications and self-care
• Prescribe medications and order laboratory tests
• Communicate with other healthcare professionals and specialists to coordinate patient care
• Document patient information, progress, and treatment plans
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Perform DOT physicals
• Perform work , school and sports physicals

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $68.00 per hour
