Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Nurse will work in a wellness/hormone focused role to provide direct patient care in an on-site clinical setting in Sequim, WA including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up. Day-to-day responsibilities may include performing health evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications or therapies in accordance with scope of practice, and delivering treatments as appropriate. The role will involve educating patients about conditions and treatment options, preventative care, and lifestyle modifications, while documenting care accurately and timely in medical records and maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The Advanced Practice Nurse will collaborate with other clinical and administrative staff to coordinate patient care, support clinic workflows, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This is a part time position requiring on-site presence 2-3 days per week and a commitment to patient-centered, ethical care. Oversight will be provided by a Medical Director and ARNP trained and heavily certified in hormone replacement and medical assisted weight loss.

Skills

• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems
• Proficiency in performing advanced procedures involving sterile technique
• Strong working knowledge of pharmacology for prescribing medications within DEA regulations
• Experience with Hormone Replacement Therapy and Medication Assisted Weight Loss
• Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing in combination with patient medical history to create comprehensive treatment plans and follow-up timelines
• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on health coaching, patient assessment, discharge planning, and case management

Pay: From $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14.0 – 21.0 per week
