We are a busy, well established and growing Internal Medicine practice in Lansdowne , MD committed to providing exceptional, family centered care to adults and their families. Our team values compassion, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our practice and help us continue to serve the Lansdowne community with excellence.

Candidates must be able to provide medical care and treatment to patients by performing physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on the patient's condition. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment as needed. Strong interpersonal and verbal and communication skills required. Degree in Nursing and Registered Nurse certification required. The practice offers competitive compensation with experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care for Internal Medicine patients and their families

• Conduct well-adult visits, sick visits, and follow-up care

• Perform and interpret basic diagnostic tests and screenings

• Educate patient and families on preventive health, growth, and development

• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure continuity of care

• Accurately document in the electronic health record (EHR)

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner (Internal Medicine) license in Maryland

• Strong clinical and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with a care team
