About the role

Coordinating the Local Health District (LHD) Nurse Practitioner (NP) strategic direction and governance for Nurse Practitioners/Transitional Nurse Practitioners (NP/TNP) across the LHD. Providing a high level of advice and support to actively engage with the Directors of Nursing and Midwifery to recruit to new Nurse Practitioner roles across Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).

Leveraging their comprehensive understanding of professional, clinical and legislative requirements of NPs to enable the seamless implementation of models of cares, training pathways and professional and clinical governance processes that support whole team approaches and ensure high-quality clinical care of consumers and families.
