Nurse Practitioner – General Practice

Raumanga medical centre is an equity driven high needs practice striving towards excellence.

You will provide comprehensive primary healthcare across all age groups, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing, health promotion, and long-term condition management. Depending on your interests and experience, there is scope to create a special interest in women's health and/or mental health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary healthcare across all age groups
• Conduct assessment and diagnosis
• Develop treatment planning
• Prescribe medications
• Provide health promotion
• Manage long-term conditions

About you

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with current NZ practising certificate
• Experience working in general practice or primary care
• Strong clinical assessment and prescribing skills
• Passion for patient-centred care and health equity
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in women's health and/or mental health would be highly valued
• Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement
