Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location: Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Job Type: Full-Time Preferred; Part-Time Considered

Salary: $80,000-$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications

Work Setting: In-person

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, physical examinations, and orthopedic and functional assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those affecting the joints, spine, and soft tissues.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the chiropractic and rehabilitation teams.
• Perform joint and trigger point injections, regenerative injections, and other specialized treatments as appropriate.
• Provide regenerative medicine treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell-based procedures, with training provided for specialized techniques.
• Lead daily medical team meetings to review patient cases and coordinate treatment plans.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests and prescribe treatments within the scope of licensure and practice.
• Educate patients on treatment options, recovery, injury prevention, and alternatives to medications, steroid injections, and surgery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the clinic director, chiropractor, and rehabilitation team to deliver coordinated, high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner (NP) license at the time of hire.
• Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and perform specialized regenerative medicine treatments.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient education skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Alignment with a patient-centered approach focused on improving function, mobility, and quality of life.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prescriptive authority; preferred but not required.

• Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Orthopedics and musculoskeletal medicine.

• Joint and spine care.

• Pain management.

• Joint or trigger point injections.

• Regenerative medicine, including PRP or stem cell-based treatments.

• Sports medicine or rehabilitation.

General Nurse Practitioner experience will be considered for candidates who are motivated to learn regenerative medicine and specialized clinical procedures. Compensation And Benefits
