Heart & Vascular Group is a thriving and expanding cardiology and vascular practice serving the Hampton Roads community. We are seeking an exceptional Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team and help us meet the growing demand for comprehensive cardiovascular care.

At HVG, you’ll work closely with experienced cardiologists, build meaningful relationships with patients, and develop expertise that extends far beyond a single area of cardiology.

• Coronary artery disease
• Structural heart disease
• Cardiac electrophysiology and rhythm disorders

Working alongside our physicians, you’ll develop the clinical knowledge and judgment to care for patients throughout the cardiovascular continuum—from initial evaluation and diagnosis through treatment and long-term management.

Who We’re Looking For

Clinical ability matters—but so does how you connect with people.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with patients, listening to their concerns, and helping them feel informed, comfortable, and cared for. Warmth, approachability, curiosity, and strong communication skills are essential to the way we practice medicine.

Experienced APPs and new graduates are both encouraged to apply. Cardiology or vascular experience is valued, but it is not required for the right candidate. We are prepared to invest in a motivated new graduate who wants to learn, grow, and build a lasting career in cardiovascular medicine.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Virginia
• Current or pending national certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment and desire to continue learning
• Compassionate, collaborative, patient-first approach
• Cardiology or vascular experience preferred, but not required
