Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in a collaborative environment. This role requires expertise in various medical fields, including Medical-surgical, Ophthalmology, and IV infusion, while also being proficient in using electronic health records systems such as Cerner. The Nurse Practitioner will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as IV infusions and dermal fillers.
• Provide education to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatments within electronic health records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.
• Stay current with medical advancements.

Experience

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant with relevant licensure.
• Experience in Medical-surgical nursing is preferred; experience in Rheumatology and Spanish speaking is a plus.
• Proficiency with AdvancedMD or similar electronic health record systems is desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
