Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for hematology oncology patients. Your expertise will support comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management. Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status using advanced physiology knowledge and clinical evaluation techniques.
• Come up with medical plan and plan treatments in collaboration with MDs.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and HIPAA regulations, ensuring safe medication administration and adherence to DEA guidelines.
• Work in collaboration with nurses and pharmacist.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of medical records, billing codes (CPT, ICD-9/10), and clinical notes.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines to coordinate patient care plans, discharge planning, case management, and utilization review.
• Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent client communication skills coupled with the ability to perform physical examinations and vital signs assessment accurately.
