Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hospitalist, located in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Hospitalist will provide inpatient medical care, including diagnosing and managing patients, coordinating with specialists, developing care plans, and ensuring high-quality treatment. The position involves working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-focused care. The role may also include mentoring, participation in hospital committees, and contributing to process improvements for patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills including diagnosing, managing acute and chronic conditions, and formulating treatment plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear explanations to patients and families
• Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or Family Medicine
• Valid medical license to practice in Kansas
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered and evidence-based care
• Experience in hospital settings and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus

Current Job Openings-Full Time (15 shifts per month)

• Day Float 7am-7pm floating between OPR and MMC
• Night shift 7pm-7am in house at Research Medical Center
• Swing shift 4pm-2am floating between Research Medical Center and Centerpoint

Pay: $75,400.00 - $90,900.00 per year
