Nurse Prescriber

Village Health is a progressive, fast growing family centred Medical Practice with a clinic in Spreydon, Christchurch and another clinic in Rolleston, Selwyn.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Nurse Prescriber at our Lincoln Road Practice.

We are committed to providing proactive quality health care across the lifespan of our patients and are in the run Nurse led low acuity and infectious streams from our purpose built buildings which allow us to work collaboratively for the benefit of our enrolled population.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Prior Practice Nurse experience or a closely related area.
• Current NZ registration and CPR certificate.
• Sound clinical skills -with smear taking, vaccination certificate, venesection and IV line insertion all being desirable.
• Experience with a patient management system -desirable (we use Medtech Evolution)
• A positive attitude, initiative and strong work ethic.
• Great communication skills to deal with the full range of patients at all ages and stages of life.
• Adaptable and able to deal with change as our practice has a strong focus on continuous improvement.
