Nurse Technician (NT)

Our company is looking for a compassionate and reliable Nurse Technician (NT). The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, has strong clinical judgment, and is committed to providing high-quality nursing care of varying ages and conditions in a home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide planned nursing care and assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and repositioning.
• Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen saturation, blood glucose (when trained and delegated), and other relevant patient observations.
• Observe patients for changes in health, behavior, or physical condition and promptly report any abnormalities to the Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• Assist with basic procedures such as wound care, dressing changes, specimen collection, and application of compression/support devices.
• Support the nursing team with medication preparation and other delegated clinical tasks within the scope of practice.
• Contribute to patient assessments, care planning, evaluation, and health education for patients and families.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing team regarding patient care.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and maintaining adequate supplies.
• Seek guidance from the RGN when situations are beyond your level of knowledge, competence, or scope of practice.

Requirements:

• Completed higher secondary education plus 18 months to 2 years nursing diploma, or 3-year nursing Diploma after 9 years education
• Minimum 1 year work experience as a Nurse Technician/Nurse Assistant
• Must have a Valid Nursing Council License/Registration Certificate from Home Country
• Preferably with completed Dataflow verification
• Preferably with Valid MOPH License in Qatar as Nurse Technician (NT)
