Foothills Rehab Center is seeking for a Nurse Manager who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator with strong time management skills and proficient computer skills. Must be able to work collaboratively with all disciplines

JOB ESSENTIALS

– Providing clinical leadership to the nursing team to include oversight of milieu management

– Conducting required/assigned audits, preparing/presenting reports to include findings, conclusions, recommendations and follow up actions

– Ensuring the provision of orientation, supervision and management of staff therapeutic activities, on the job training of staff; assisting in evaluation of job performance; acts as an education resource person for nursing employees

– Educating staff to new methods, changes in policies and procedures, and implementation of nursing best practices

– Providing oversight to ensure patient records are properly documented and patient assessments completed as per policy requirements

– Conducting ongoing and special audits to ensure compliance with documentation and performance expectations

– Attending and offering in-service instruction to maintain or increase knowledge of leadership, supervision, management, pharmacology, and other related health care issues

– Participating in maintaining safe, therapeutic environment; offering suggestions for improvement

Qualifications

– Compassion, professionalism, and strong communication and organizational skills

– 2-3 year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility, preferred.

– Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a RN or LPN in the state of Arizona

– Strong leadership and communication skills.
