We think this role can be over 3 evenings 4pm-6pm with an additional 3 hours deep clean once a month either in the evening aft 6 or on a weekend am

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to meet health and safety standards
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly to maintain hygiene standards
• Restock cleaning supplies and ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stored properly
• Follow strict health protocols related to infection control and hygiene practices
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
• Maintain detailed cleaning logs and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed cleaning procedures
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and lifting supplies
• Excellent time management skills to complete daily cleaning routines efficiently
• Knowledge of health regulations related to sanitation in childcare environments is a plus

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
