Nursery Cleaner

Coleshill Nursery and Preschool are looking for a Nursery Cleaner!

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nursery Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within our childcare facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all nursery areas are hygienic, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to creating a nurturing space where children can thrive.

We are looking for someone that can work Monday-Friday 6pm-8pm once the nursery is shut.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of nursery rooms, play areas, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning materials and nursery supplies to ensure safety and accessibility
• Dispose of waste safely and efficiently, adhering to environmental guidelines
• Restock all rooms with required hygiene products

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within childcare or educational settings
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and sanitation procedures suitable for sensitive environments
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 12.0 per week
