Cleaner required Lowland Road Runcorn, WA7 5TR. 6pm - 8pm, Monday to Friday cleaning a nursery, buffing one floor per night and the rest of the rooms cleaned.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, including floors, furniture, toys, and equipment using appropriate cleaning supplies and methods.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
• Ensure all waste is properly disposed of and recycling procedures are followed.
• Restock supplies such as tissues, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness at all times.
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently, reporting any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
• Keep cleaning records up-to-date and adhere to scheduled cleaning routines to maintain consistent standards.
• Assist with setting up and tidying play areas and learning spaces to promote a clean and organized environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within childcare or educational settings.
• Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques and sanitation practices specific to nursery environments.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Strong time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with staff regarding cleaning needs or safety concerns.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of children and staff.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
