Nursery Educator

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our under 2's team. The ideal candidate will have background knowledge in early year and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development. The Educator will be responsible for guiding children through their educational journey while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth within our grade 2 outstanding nursery!

We are looking for either a level 3 or above educator.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of children.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programmes and share best practices.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
• Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational trends.

Experience

• Proven experience in early years or childcare settings is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English.
• Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is advantageous.
