Nursery House Keeper

We are looking for a House Keeper to join our Nursery family.

10 hours a day (6.00-8.00 a.m. or 5.00-7.00 p.m.), 51 weeks a year.

Casterton Nursery is located within the beautiful grounds of Casterton College Rutland. For over twenty years, we have provided high-quality early education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.

We are extremely motivated about the early years education we provide at Casterton. We believe children are innately curious and this is a great way for children to learn and develop. We believe children can be and do whatever they set their mind on, they most definitely reach the stars!

Responsibilities will include:

• To promote a clean and hygienic environment for both children and staff.
• To work as part of a team, where necessary and contribute to the high standards at Casterton Nursery.
• To promote an atmosphere of professionalism at all time.
• To be aware of the Health and Safety Policy of the Nursery and College and to follow them at all times.
• To assist with the security and maintenance of the building and equipment within the buildings.
• To keep the Nursery and Preschool clean and tidy.
• To mop and hoover floors.
• To clean and tidy the Nursery and Preschool kitchen.
• To clean and tidy the Nursery and Preschool staffroom.
• To give the Nursery and Preschool a deep clean once a year.
• To carry out any other reasonable responsibilities and duties as required by Management.
• To be respectful towards other staff members and show professionalism at all times.
