Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure excellent childcare delivery
• Oversee daily operations, including planning activities, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Build strong relationships with parents and guardians through clear communication, updates, and responsive support
• Coordinate staff schedules, recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain a high-performing team
• Ensure the nursery environment is engaging, safe, clean, and conducive to early learning development
• Monitor children's progress and implement tailored activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Maintain accurate records related to child attendance, health & safety logs, and regulatory documentation

Skills

• Proven management and leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting
• Deep understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
• Experience working directly with children across various age groups in a nursery environment
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with staff, parents, and regulatory bodies
• Ability to organize schedules efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations applicable to childcare facilities
• Valid driving license preferred for transportation or outreach activities
