Nursery Manager

We are excited to offer a nursery Manager position at our newly opened Nursery in Edgbaston.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our company which runs five settings including day nurseries.

Hours: The hours of work are term time only 8:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday.(Flexible)

Purpose of the Role:

• To work closely with the deputy manager to create an effective team and be fully involved in all activities associated within the setting.
• Cover the ratio of a group when require.
• To assist the practitioners in the planning, preparation and to participate in a range of activities that promotes each child’s physical,emoltional and intellectual needs to support each child to achieve their full potential.
• To assist in the provision of an warm welcoming environment at all time.
• To build a strong, friendly and professional relationships with the children and their families, encouraging the involvement of parents at all levels.
• To develop a good collaborative relationship with other agencies ensuring relevant information is appropriately shared.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• You must hold a relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification or above.
• You must have recent experience of working in an Early Years environment.
• You should have good communication skills.
• Be approachable, reliable and trustworthy.
• Be enthusiastic and motivated.

Pay: From £16.00 per hour
