Pay: Up To £47,000

Job description: Full-Time | Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
Hours: 40–50 hours per week

Bright Start Specialists is recruiting Nursery Managers for nursery settings in Streatham and Tooting.

As Nursery Manager, you’ll:

• Lead, motivate and support your nursery team
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for children, parents and colleagues
• Support recruitment, induction, supervision and staff development
• Manage staff rotas, deployment and cover
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies are followed
• Oversee learning activities, children’s development records and inclusive practice
• Build strong relationships with families and outside professionals
• Support nursery occupancy through enquiries and prospective parent visits
• Manage nursery administration, records and resources
• Work directly with children and undertake key person responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
• Has nursery experience and the ability to lead and support a team
• Has an excellent understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development
• Holds a valid paediatric first aid qualification and basic food hygiene certificate
• Can motivate, mentor and develop colleagues
• Builds positive relationships with children, families and professionals
• Has excellent organisational, communication and IT skills
• Is committed to inclusive care and meeting children’s individual needs
