Nursery Manager

Beacon Gardens is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to join our team in Osterville, MA. We're looking for someone with strong plant knowledge, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to keeping our nursery running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursery staff and coordinate daily operations.
• Organize plant placement and maintain attractive, well-stocked displays.
• Oversee the care and overall health of trees, shrubs, and other nursery stock.
• Coordinate with sales staff on customer orders and pickups.
• Communicate with shipping personnel regarding outgoing orders and internal transfers.
• Direct staff during deliveries, ensuring materials are received, unloaded, and organized efficiently.
• Operate nursery equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional nursery or horticulture experience required.
• Strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, and plant care.
• Basic understanding of plant health and maintenance.
• Experience supervising staff and organizing daily tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience operating nursery equipment and vehicles.
• Good eye for plant displays and merchandising.
• Ability to multitask, solve problems, and work well with a team.
• Availability to work additional hours, including overtime, as needed.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
