Nursery Manager

Pay: $35,360 –$43,680 Salary

Hours: Monday - Saturday 7am-4pm

White Diamond Nursery is looking for a dependable, organized, and motivated Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our entire nursery. We need a hands-on leader who can manage inventory, handle all plant and supply ordering, and supervise our nursery employees to ensure the nursery operates efficiently and stays organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily nursery operations and ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Manage all plant, tree, flower, palm, soil, fertilizer, and supply ordering.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked and available.
• Coordinate deliveries, receiving, and organization of incoming inventory.
• Supervise, train, and oversee nursery employees.
• Delegate daily tasks and ensure employees complete their responsibilities.
• Maintain the health, quality, watering, and overall appearance of nursery plants.
• Monitor inventory needs and minimize waste and product loss.
• Assist customers and provide knowledgeable recommendations about plants and nursery products.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and productive work environment.
• Communicate inventory needs, staffing concerns, and operational updates to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a plant nursery, garden center, landscaping, or horticulture preferred.
• Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of plants, trees, palms, flowers, and general plant care.
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and daily operations independently.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks as needed.
