Nursery Manager

Job Overview

Lead a nursery team in providing a safe, caring and engaging environment where children can learn and thrive. You will oversee day-to-day operations, support staff and build positive relationships with children and families. Your impact: Strong leadership and consistent care help children feel secure and give families confidence in their nursery experience.

Duties

• Manage daily nursery operations, routines and resources.
• Lead, support and communicate clearly with staff to maintain a welcoming, well-organised setting.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, learning and development through age-appropriate activities.
• Build respectful relationships with families and share relevant updates about children’s progress.
• Uphold nursery policies and support a safe, inclusive environment.

Experience

• Experience in a nursery or childcare setting, including working directly with children.
• Management or leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support a team.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and children’s development.
• Strong communication skills and a good command of English.
• Driving ability is desirable for role-related travel.

Pay: £26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
