Job Title: Nursery Manager

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

We are working with an award-winning 90 place nursery in Peterborough to recruit a Nursery Manager.

As Nursery Manager you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operations, team management and quality of the nursery. This is a varied and exciting role where you will be empowered to shape the future of the nursery and support the wider group as it grows. What you'll be responsible for

• Leading the day-to-day running of the nursery, including budgets, occupancy and staffing costs.
• Line managing the Deputy Manager, Room Leaders and wider team, including safer recruitment, supervision and development.
• Ensuring high quality EYFS delivery, leading self-evaluation and keeping the nursery inspection ready.
• Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead and overseeing SEND provision with the SENCO.
• Supporting other managers and settings across the group, sharing best practice and contributing to group-wide improvements.

This role will be perfect for

• An established Nursery Manager with a proven track record of leading a nursery and raising standards.
• You hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification as a minimum, ideally Level 5 or above.
• You have a strong understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements, safeguarding and SEND.
• You're commercially aware, with experience of managing budgets, staffing costs and occupancy.
