Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote early childhood development across various learning areas
• Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children’s independence and confidence
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities ensuring their safety at all times
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress and daily experiences
• Support the implementation of nursery policies, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures
• Lead small groups of children in educational tasks that stimulate creativity, problem-solving, and social skills
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized, clean, and stimulating learning environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
• Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
• Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety standards, and safeguarding protocols
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with energy and enthusiasm
• Valid driving license is preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
• Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are highly desirable

Pay: £33,000.00-£37,856.33 per year
