Nursery Practitioner

Willow Park Montessori Nursery is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and established team.

We are a small Montessori nursery that has been operating for over 30 years, providing care and education for children aged 9 months to 4 years.

The nursery is open for 45 weeks of the year, offering staff 7 weeks of holiday, including 2 weeks at Easter, 3 weeks in August and 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work as part of our team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised childcare/Early Years qualification or has relevant experience working with children
• Has previous experience working within a nursery, Early Years setting, school, childcare environment or other child-focused role
• Enjoys supporting young children's learning and development
• Is caring, enthusiastic, reliable and creative
• Works well as part of a team
• Has a good understanding of children's individual needs and development
• Is committed to providing a high standard of care and education

Hours

We have permanent full-time and part-time positions available, with working hours agreed according to the role.

Our nursery operates Monday to Friday on a shift basis, with typical shifts including:

• 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 9:00am to 6:00pm

Salary

£27,000 to £29,000 per year (full-time equivalent), depending on qualifications and experience.
