We welcome applications from:
- Unqualified candidates who are passionate about starting a career in childcare
- Level 2 qualified practitioners
- Candidates looking for an apprenticeship opportunity to gain a recognised childcare qualification while working
If you are unqualified or currently hold a Level 2 qualification, we can offer the opportunity to develop your skills and work towards a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification through an apprenticeship, subject to eligibility.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced early years professionals in a supportive nursery environment. Whether you are beginning your childcare career or looking to develop your existing qualifications, we are committed to helping the right candidate progress.
Working Hours
- 36 hours per week over 4 days
- 40 hours per week over 5 days
- Shifts will be scheduled between our opening hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm
Duties

- Support observations, assessments, and planning for children's individual development
- Follow nursery safeguarding, health and safety, and operational policies at all times
- For more experienced practitioners, provide support and guidance to apprentices, trainees, and other team members where appropriate
Experience & Qualifications
Previous nursery experience is desirable but not essential for apprenticeship or trainee applicants.
We are happy to consider candidates who are:

- Qualified to Level 2 in Childcare/Early Years and interested in progressing to Level 3
- Caring, patient, reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children's development
- Able to communicate effectively with children, parents, carers, and colleagues

You will receive practical experience, support from experienced nursery professionals, and opportunities to develop your knowledge and confidence while working towards your qualification.
