Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. You will be responsible for managing daily nursery activities, ensuring effective communication with parents, and supporting the overall growth of each child.

Duties

• Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
• Drive engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
• Provide high-quality childcare by attending to the individual needs of each child.
• Support children’s learning through play-based activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their development.
