Nursery Practitioner – Level 3
Come and join us at Blooming Kids!
We’re looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team and help create the warm, nurturing, home-from-home environment that Blooming Kids is all about.
You’ll be part of a team helping children learn, grow and blossom through play, real-life experiences, positive relationships and lots of opportunities to explore, investigate and have fun.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing warm, responsive care and creating meaningful experiences for children.
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play, interests and everyday experiences.
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Being a positive role model and helping children feel safe, secure, valued and included.
- Supporting observations, next steps and curriculum planning.
- Promoting positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
- Following safeguarding, health & safety and nursery procedures.
- Working as part of a team to maintain high standards of care and learning.
- Taking an active role in the day-to-day life of the nursery — getting stuck in, getting messy and having fun!
What we’re looking for
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
- Experience working with children in an early years setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children to thrive.
- A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and your responsibilities in keeping children safe.
- Someone who is reliable, reflective and keen to learn and develop.
At Blooming Kids, keeping children safe comes first. All appointments are subject to our safer recruitment procedures, including an appropriate DBS check, references, verification of qualifications and employment history, suitability checks and the completion of required pre-employment documentation.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect everyone who works with us to share this commitment.
If you’re passionate about early years and want to make a difference every day, we’d love to hear from you!
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
