Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, development, and social skills in line with early childhood education standards
• Supervise and support a team of nursery assistants, providing guidance and leadership to ensure consistent quality care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that adheres to health and safety regulations at all times
• Build strong relationships with children to support their emotional well-being and individual needs
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, behavior, and development milestones
• Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and professional conduct
• Manage daily operational tasks including record keeping, activity planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Experience

• Extensive experience working directly with children in childcare or nursery environments
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices in childcare
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members
• Previous nursery experience combined with qualifications at Level 3 or higher in childcare or early childhood education is essential

Pay: £13.35 per hour
