Nursery Practitioner Level 3

We are looking for a passionate and caring Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about children's development and wants to support children to become independent, confident and capable learners.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner in our nursery, you will:

• Create a calm, nurturing and respectful environment where children feel safe and valued.
• Support children's independence, confidence and curiosity through the Montessori approach.
• Observe children carefully and respond to their individual interests and developmental needs.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly and accessible Montessori environment.
• Introduce children to Montessori materials and practical life experiences.
• Encourage children to “help me to do it myself”, giving them time and space to develop independence.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to observations, assessments and planning in line with the EYFS.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and care.
• Reflect on your practice and be open to learning and developing your Montessori knowledge.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Level 3 qualified in Early Years, Childcare or equivalent.
• Warm, patient, caring and respectful.
• Passionate about working with young children.
• Interested in Montessori education and supporting children's independence.
• A good observer who is able to recognise and respond to individual children's needs.
• Calm, positive and consistent in their approach.
• A supportive team player with good communication skills.
• Committed to their own professional development.

Montessori experience or training is desirable but not essential — we will support the right person to develop their Montessori knowledge and practice.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
