Nursery Practitioner Level 3

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate level 3 Nursery practitioner . The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in early childhood education, able to work as a small team, compassion, empathy and good people skills. This role involves ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and fostering positive relationships with parents. Following all upto date frameworks to allow for the development of enriching curriculum that sets good starting points for a young child

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress, needs, and any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the nursery.
• Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of childcare services provided.
• Maintain accurate records related to children's development, attendance, and incidents.

Experience

• Proven experience in a childcare setting and a recognised level 3 qualification
• Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Experience working with children of various ages is essential
• First aid
• Child protection

Pay: From £12.72 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
