Shanklin Day Nursery is a friendly, family-run nursery with over 30 years of experience. With more children joining us, we're looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our established and supportive team.

Based in Stoneygate, close to Leicester city centre and local bus routes, we pride ourselves on creating a warm and nurturing environment where children, families and our team genuinely matter.

With over 30 years of experience, we’re proud of our long-standing history of Good and Outstanding Ofsted ratings and our commitment to providing high-quality early years care and education.

We’re passionate about giving children rich learning experiences, including extensive opportunities for outdoor learning and Forest School.

Flexible Working

We understand that a better working pattern can make a real difference, so our full-time 40-hour position can be worked across either 4 or 5 days per week

What we're looking for

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding
• A warm, caring and professional approach
• Confidence in building positive relationships with children and families
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and thrive
