Early Years Educator (Level 2 or Above)

PART TIME & FULL TIME - ALL YEAR ROUND

Hassocks Day Nursery & Preschool is a proudly independent, family-owned nursery set at the foot of the South Downs. We are looking for a qualified Early Years Educator to join our friendly, experienced team.

We believe childhood should be full of exploration, discovery, and memorable experiences. With a large outdoor learning environment, regular outings in the local community, and a strong focus on learning through play, every day is different.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5
• Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS
• Supporting children's learning and development through play and exploration
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observing and assessing children's progress
• Supporting outdoor learning, community visits, and special events
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing

What We're Looking For

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years or above (essential)
• Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
• A positive, caring, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for helping children learn and thrive

Pay: £14.00-£15.75 per hour
