Nursery Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a qualified Room Supervisor to join our dedicated team of childcare practitioners.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to take on the role of supervisor, able to lead a team of up to six staff, ensuring the smooth day to day running of a nursery room. This will be in the preschool room wih 3-4 year olds.

The successful candidate must hold a level three qualification and have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You will be responsible for overseeing effective planning and assessment for the children in the group, providing them with stimulating and challenging activities that incorporate their individual interests and natural play progression.

Not only must you be an exemplary childcare practitioner, but you must work with your team to ensure the nursery's high standards, aims and objectives and policies and procedures are met at all times.

You must have excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met for yourself and your team and be able to support them in meeting their goals. You must work to create a positive, warm and friendly environment where all individuals feel valued and included.

An average of 40 hours a week between 7.30am and 6.00pm.

Uniform provided.

Salary will be negotiable depending on knowledge and experience.
