Nursery Worker

Nursery caregivers at Trinity Church will be responsible for childcare during regular Sunday services and special events. Specifically, they will be responsible for:

• Age-appropriate care of children which includes but is not limited to: feeding, changing diapers, maintaining a safe environment per Safe Church Guidelines, putting children down for naps, holding, sitting with, and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, crafts and play.
• Building relationships with parents and children and keeping information about families confidential.
• Communicating to the Minister for Early Childhood about families, schedules, supplies, and concerns.
• Keeping Nursery organized and clean.
• Arriving 15 minutes prior to Nursery opening and staying until all children are secured with a parent/guardian.

Qualifications:

• Experience caring for children, especially children 0-4 years of age, with the ability to adapt and interact with a variety of personalities/characteristics
• Good communication skills
• Personable, friendly, organized
• Required background screening and Diocesan Safe Church training

Pay: $22.00 per hour
