Nursing assistant

About the role

The Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care and assists nurses and doctors with daily clinical activities. This role helps ensure patient comfort, safety, and hygiene while supporting the smooth operations of the nursing unit.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Measure and record patient vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, rate of breathing) and report changes to the nurse in charge
• Help transfer, lift, and position patients safely between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare patient rooms, beds, and equipment for admissions and procedures
• Run errands for the ward, run lab specimens to the laboratory, and collect supplies or medical items as instructed by nursing staff

About you

• High school graduate, Nursing Aide course finisher, or Health Care Services NC II holder preferred
• Fresh graduates welcome; open to entry-level applicants
• No prior hospital experience required
• Compassionate, hardworking, and patient-focused attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit to lift, turn, and transfer patients safely
