Job Description

Rochester Restorative Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents and assist the nursing team with daily care needs. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and committed to providing respectful, high-quality care in a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Monitor and report changes in residents' condition
• Record and communicate care information accurately
• Assist with meals and hydration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
• Follow care plans and facility procedures
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and healthcare staff
• Support nurses and other care team members as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current Nursing Assistant certification as required by Minnesota regulations
• Previous long-term care or healthcare experience preferred
• Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with resident care
