Class One Diploma in Gen Nursing from Punjab Medical Faculty Board or Army Medical Corps Centre

Desirable Qualifications

Post Basic Diploma/BSc Nursing or any relevant nursing qualification.

Required Skills

Essential Skills / KSA

• Basic knowledge of nursing care, patient hygiene, comfort, and safety procedures.
• Ability to assist nursing staff in routine patient care and daily nursing activities.
• Knowledge of basic vital signs monitoring, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Ability to maintain patient records and basic nursing documentation accurately.
• Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations and promptly inform the concerned nursing/medical staff.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with patients, attendants, and healthcare staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, discipline, and professional conduct while dealing with patients.

Desirable Skills / KSA

• Knowledge of basic first aid, CPR, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Practical experience in a hospital, clinic, medical centre, or healthcare facility.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure when required.

Key Responsibilities

To assist in patient handling, shifting, and conditions for the concerned medical staff.

To assist MOs and Nursing staff in providing basic patient care and preparing patients for medical examinations.

• Prepare prescription chits, enter names of patients in the relevant sick report register, and check patients' vital signs.
• Administer I/V drips, injections, and other medications to patients detained at NUST Medical Centre.
• To dressing of patients and replenish used dressing material from the dispensary.
• To accompany seriously ill patients to hospital when required.
• To perform duties of General Nursing in shifts, including weekends/Holidays.
• To perform duties on medical covers whenever required.
• Any other duty assigned by the OIC NMC.

Term and Conditions

Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their documents (Academics / Professional).

Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:

• 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.

• NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.

• In process of pursuing a required degree.

• Medically unfit.

• Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations.

Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
