Nursing Assistant

We have a casual non-benefited position available; working 3, 12 hour shifts, on both day (5:45am to 6:15pm) and NOC (5:45pm to 6:15am) shift. This is a casual position, which means there are not a guarantee number of hours per week. However, we are seeking 4-5 individuals who may be interested in participating in our upcoming in-house Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) course. We only accept current employees for these courses, so this position is your way to get your foot in the door, learn patient care, ensure this is the career path for which you are interested and passionate and show us your awesome work ethic. The C.N.A. course is five weeks, Monday through Friday 8 hour shifts during the day, absences during the five week course is strongly discouraged as the state mandates the course schedule and make up hours are extremely limited. We will provide scrubs, shoes and the curriculum required for the course and you are paid to attend the course. You will be required to successfully pass the State of CA Certification exam after the five week course. In this role, you will learn to take patient vitals, ensure adequate nutritional and fluid intake is provided to patients, provides daily hygiene and grooming to patients, assures incontinent patients are clean and dry, and reports any patient change in condition to the nursing staff and turns patients that require assistance. Our ideal candidate would have some caregiving experience, however this is not required. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and we can assist in obtaining that certificate after hire.
