Job Summary

The Clinical Instructor is responsible for guiding, supervising, and evaluating students during their clinical training. They help students apply classroom knowledge in real healthcare settings while ensuring safe, ethical, and professional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students during clinical duties and patient care activities.
• Teach and demonstrate proper clinical procedures and techniques.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure students follow healthcare policies, safety standards, and ethical practices.
• Coordinate with healthcare facility staff regarding student learning activities.
• Prepare clinical schedules, lesson plans, and evaluation reports.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and clinical performance.
• Support students in developing clinical competence, critical thinking, and professional behavior.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, and curriculum improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant healthcare field (Master's degree preferred, depending on institutional requirements).
• Valid professional license in the appropriate healthcare profession.
• Clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Teaching or clinical instruction experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current clinical practices, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations.
