TYPE OF POSITION/EMPLOYMENT CATEGORY: Full-Time, Administrator

DEPARTMENT: Clinical Learning Center

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, Daily hours may vary between 7:30am to 8:00pm.

• Work location may be flexible under some circumstances: 2 lab sites.
• Evenings and occasional weekends

REMOTE WORK ELIGILITY: No

HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR: 35 hours/week and 52 weeks/year

FLSA STATUS: E xempt, Salaried

GENERAL PURPOSE Assist undergraduate and graduate nursing students with practice and competency evaluation of nursing skills in a supportive, nurturing, clinical environment. Participates in Simulation Based Education (SBE) across nursing curriculums.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide nursing students with the support necessary to practice nursing skills. Administer competency evaluation of psychomotor skills for undergraduate students with reinforcement and remediation of nursing skills as warranted.
• Facilitate simulation experiences: setup, scenario competency, breakdown of environment, and debriefing.
• Assist with the day-to-day activities of the CLC.
• Assist with maintenance of laboratory environment, inventory of supplies and equipment.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Registered Nurse, B.S.N)
• 5 to 8 years of clinical experience
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PUBLIC CONTACT

• Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.

SALARY INFORMATION When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring annual salary for this position is $70,000 to $72,000. This hourly pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
