A leading inpatient rehabilitation facility in Woburn, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its nursing leadership team as a Nurse Supervisor. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys supporting clinical teams, maintaining high standards of care, and helping patients regain independence following serious illnesses or injuries.

Position Overview

The Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and clinical oversight during assigned shifts. This individual will support nursing staff, coordinate daily patient-care operations, address staffing and clinical concerns, and promote a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care and daily clinical operations during assigned shifts
• Provide guidance, coaching, and real-time support to RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants
• Coordinate staffing assignments based on patient needs, census, and acuity
• Assist with employee development, performance feedback, and corrective action
• Respond to changes in patient condition and support the team during clinical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Promote compliance with facility policies, regulatory standards, and patient-safety practices
• Support quality-improvement initiatives and positive patient outcomes
• Assist with direct patient care when needed

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Previous nursing leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Medical-surgical, rehabilitation, acute-care, skilled-nursing, or medically complex patient-care experience preferred
• BSN preferred

Compensation

• Competitive pay ranging from $45.00 to $63.00 per hour, based on experience, education, and qualifications
