NURSING SUPERINTENDENT – GURUGRAM

Salary: ₹55,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Nursing Superintendent to manage and supervise the overall nursing operations of the hospital. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, nursing practices, staff discipline and coordination with clinical and administrative departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall supervision and management of the nursing department
• Preparation and management of nursing duty rosters and staff deployment
• Supervision of nursing staff and ensuring adequate manpower coverage
• Monitoring patient care, nursing procedures and documentation
• Implementation and monitoring of infection prevention and control practices
• Coordination with doctors, clinical departments and hospital administration
• Monitoring nursing protocols, SOPs and quality standards
• Ensuring proper maintenance of nursing records, registers and reports
• Supervision of medication administration, patient safety and nursing compliance
• Coordination and monitoring of CSSD-related activities and sterilization practices
• Conducting staff training, orientation and competency assessments
• Handling nursing staff grievances, discipline and performance management
• Supporting hospital quality and accreditation requirements, including NABH standards
• Maintaining overall cleanliness, safety and professional standards within nursing services

Additional Responsibility:
The Nursing Superintendent will also function as the Infection Control Nurse (ICN) and will be responsible for coordinating infection control activities, surveillance, staff awareness and implementation of infection prevention protocols.

Qualification:

• B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
• Valid Nursing Registration with the relevant State Nursing Council
• Additional qualification or training in Hospital Administration / Infection Control / NABH will be an advantage

Experience:

• Preferably 5+ years of relevant hospital experience
• Prior experience as Nursing Superintendent / Nursing In-charge / Senior Nursing Supervisor preferred
• Experience in a multi-specialty hospital and NABH-accredited environment will be an advantage

Candidate Profile:

• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of nursing protocols, infection control and hospital procedures
• Ability to manage staff, rosters and day-to-day nursing

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
