NVH Test Engineer

Job Description

• Lead noise solution development by identifying vehicle noise/vibration issues, proposing, and confirming solutions with CAE and empirical resources.
• Coordinating with CAE Team on NVH design loops and during NVH development.
• Leading NVH Dynamometer Testing
• Outsourcing: provide parts, test requests, timing, POs, and analysis
• Internal: scheduling, making test requests, checking reports, and analyzing test data.
• Tracking historical test results to learn from and avoiding the duplication of tests.
• Coordinating with Road test team to confirm dynamometer testing.
• Support customer meeting to represent Brembo NVH and maintain leadership of the NVH solution.
• Perform advanced measurements such as FRF, Modal Analysis, pressure distribution analysis, ultrasound friction measurements, 3D ODS analysis.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, other applicable education, or equivalent experience required.
• 1 -3 years of experience preferred.
• Proficiency in a computer programming language such as Python, MATLAB, or visual basic is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of brake NVH and numerical methods is preferred.
• Knowledge of Pro-Link software preferred.
