NX CAM Programmer

About the Role

Even Platforms operates a fully automated 5-axis machining center serving Aerospace & Defense customers. Our facility features CNC milling with pallet loaders, robotic material handling, and automated back-office software. All components undergo CMM quality verification.

This position focuses on full-cycle programming workflows for aerospace components. You will translate engineering specifications into toolpaths, validate production programs, and optimize processes for unmanned manufacturing operations. This is a ground-floor role offering direct influence on facility operations and development.

Programming

• Develop 5-axis CAM programs using NX
• Interpret engineering drawings and create toolpath strategies
• Select cutting tools and fixturing approaches for speed and quality
• Incorporate probing routines, tool management, and in-process inspection
• Maintain documentation and revision control

Process Development

• Establish parameters for aerospace materials (aluminum, titanium, Inconel)
• Collaborate with machinists for shop-floor refinements
• Identify workflow automation opportunities
