Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed NY Process Server to join our team. This role involves the efficient and professional delivery of legal documents in accordance with procedural law. The ideal candidate must be licensed by the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) and possess a strong understanding of process serving procedures. This position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals who are organized, reliable, and familiar with mobile technology to ensure timely service of legal documents across New York State.

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents to individuals or entities in accordance with procedural law requirements.
• Utilize personal vehicles for timely delivery and service of documents across designated areas.
• Manage mobile devices and data collection software to track service progress and maintain accurate records.
• Follow established procedures for process serving, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality throughout all interactions during the service process.
• Keep detailed logs of served documents, including timestamps, locations, and recipient details.
• Communicate effectively with clients or legal teams regarding service status or issues encountered during process serving.

Experience

• Must be licensed by the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP).
• Prior experience in process serving or related legal support roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
• Familiarity with procedural law relevant to process serving is highly desirable.
• Comfortable using mobile devices, data collection software, and other digital tools to streamline operations.
• Reliable personal vehicle for delivery purposes is required.

Please note that this position is paid and requires adherence to all licensing requirements specified by the DCWP. Only applicants who meet these licensing criteria will be considered for this role.

Pay: $27.44 - $35.00 per hour
